Derek has been singing for as long as he can remember, and wouldn't trade singing with Those Guys for anything. He also enjoys singing in choirs, theatrical productions, and while playing his guitar. Derek is drawn to the power that music seems to have to connect people to each other, especially when experienced live. He has a theatre degree from the University of Winnipeg, and is a founding member of Theatre by the River. Derek also plays a variety of rec sports and owns more board games than he has time to play.
